Garbage Collection
Garbage carts and recycling containers may only be placed curbside after 5:00 p.m. the night before pick up and must be removed from sight by 9:00 a.m. the day after pick up.

Twice Per Week Collection Schedule:
June 3, 2024 – August 30, 2024

Garbage is Not Collected on the following City Holidays
If any of the following holidays fall on a regular scheduled collection day the collection will be delayed by one day.
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- Presidents' Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Veteran's Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Friday after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
2024 Holiday Schedule
Garbage Collection service will maintain its regular schedule on:
- The week of Thanksgiving
- December 24 (Christmas Eve).
Note: Yard Debris and Miscellaneous collection will NOT occur on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Collected Materials
Acceptable Yard Debris
All yard debris must be in paper bags or containers. Plastic bags cannot be accepted.
- Routine Landscaping Material
- Leaves
- Grass Clippings
- Logs, Limbs, Brush not more than 4 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter.
- Please place yard debris in a biodegradable bag for composting. Please do not mix garbage with yard debris. Please do not obstruct water meters, stormwater collection boxes, sewer manhole covers or fire hydrants.

- Slag or Gravel
- Concrete/Cement
