City Administrative Offices and Recreation Center Closures

Thanksgiving Day: November 28

Friday after Thanksgiving: November 29

Christmas Eve: December 24

Christmas Day: December 25

Day after Christmas: December 26

New Year's Day: January 1

 

Many services are available online at Virtual City Hall.

 

City Garbage Collection

Garbage Collection Service will maintain its regular schedule on:

  • The week of Thanksgiving
  • December 24 (Christmas Eve)

Note: Yard Debris and Miscellaneous collection will NOT occur on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Charleston County Recycling

Recycling collection will NOT occur on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, and will be delayed by one day. See Holiday Recycling Collection Schedule:
