Join Upcoming Community Listening Sessions

The next step in the City of Isle of Palms’ Community Enrichment Plan project includes gathering additional feedback from Isle of Palms community members through listening sessions. Attendees will be able to provide feedback on issues relating to quality of life and tourism. Youth participation in the sessions is strongly encouraged. During both events, there will be a separate session for youth, ages 9 to 14 to engage and share their input. All other guests are welcome to attend the larger group session. Two dates are being offered to accommodate different schedules. Both sessions are the same (see dates below).

The City of Isle of Palms’ Community Enrichment Plan project, launched in the fall of 2023, will continue to use substantial community input to guide the city on how to productively deal with the complexities and challenges of regional population growth while ensuring Isle of Palms thrives as the most sustainable, family-friendly beach community in South Carolina. The city is partnering with Explore Charleston, the College of Charleston and The McNair Group on the project.

The May 29 session will be available to view on the city’s YouTube channel by Thursday, May 30.
