Coastal Storm Update #4: Restoration Underway

City of Isle of Palms officials continue to assess Coastal Storm damage and are identifying areas and properties that meet emergency conditions. Normal city operations continue. Most of the storm damage consists of debris and beach erosion. Crews have begun clean up and restoration efforts across the island. 

For your safety, please do not climb on or walk near eroded dunes in violation of city ordinances, and stay clear of work vehicles.

The city will continue to work with community partners and utilize all necessary resources to restore the parts of the island in need of repair, and ensure they can be accessed as safely as possible.
