City of Isle of Palms to Host a Community Wellness Fair

Admission is free and open to residents and visitors.

TIME 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

WHERE Isle of Palms Recreation Center Gymnasium
WHAT City of Isle of Palms will host a Community Wellness Fair on October 6, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Isle of Palms Recreation Center. The event will be set up in the gymnasium and will include:

• Over 25 health and wellness related booths and displays.
• Various wellness consultations and screenings
• Free samples of health-related promotional items
• Isle of Palms Police and Fire Safety Displays
• Food Truck
• Flu vaccinations
• Fitness demonstrations
• More!

East Cooper Medical Center will host FREE Cholesterol Screenings. Pre-registration is not required but recommended. Participants can register online at IOP.NET.
In addition, Delta Pharmacy will provide Flu vaccinations. Participants must provide insurance or a Medicare card. No appointments necessary.
“We have hosted this event year-over-year. It has developed into a community social that is fun and informative! Plus, there are lots of free health and wellness-related take-aways,” said Karrie Ferrell, Recreation Director.
