Statewide Primary Runoffs
The Democratic and Republican parties will hold primaries on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Any necessary runoffs will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Any person wishing to vote in the primaries and runoffs must register no later than Sunday, May 15, 2022. Voter registration forms received by mail will be accepted if postmarked by Monday, May 16, 2022. Beginning Monday, May 16, 2022, the county voter registration and elections office will be open for in-person absentee voting during regular business hours.
Voters will be asked to provide one of the following Photo IDs at their polling place:
• S.C. Driver's License
• ID Card issued by S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles
• S.C. Voter Registration Card with Photo
• Federal Military ID
• U.S. Passport
Voters can check their assigned polling place at scVOTES.gov before going to the polls on election day.
