Free Parking
No need to pay to park before you play! Free parking is available on Front Beach (Ocean Blvd on-street parking) and the Municipal Parking Lots through March 1, 2024.

Polar Plunge

Front Beach Fest

Front Beach- 1300 Ocean Blvd
12pm - 4pm
The City of IOP invites people of all ages for a day of dancing, eating and fun on Ocean Boulevard. This free event will feature music from The Coppertones, along with The Yacht Club. The afternoon will include handmade arts and crafts from over 40 local vendors. Island restaurants and other local food vendors will fill the street, offering their favorite dishes. With multiple areas dedicated to kids’ entertainment, this is a day that can truly be enjoyed by the whole family. Free.
Indoor/Outdoor Recreation
- Bike, golf cart & moped rentals- Cruise around the island while there’s less traffic. (Please note: motorized vehicles are not allowed on the beach. See beach rules.
- Recreation Center- Get competitive at the new outdoor fitness court, renovated pickleball courts, or enroll in various programs and classes.
- Visit IOP County Park – Bring your family to the ocean-side playground.
- IOP Marina- Take a tour via boat or kayak, or go on a paddle board excursion.
- Launch a kayak or paddle board at the Public Dock, located at the Marina.
- IOP Scavenger Hunt
- Golfing

- Grab a warm drink from an island café or enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner at local restaurants.
- Oyster roasting season is here. Be sure to recycle your shells at Islander 71.
