Isle of Palms Police Announce Road Closures for July 4th Golf Cart Parade

 

Isle of Palms— July 3, 2023 — The July 4th golf cart parade will take place Tuesday, July 4, 2023 starting at 10 a.m. on Isle of Palms, SC.  The event will start at Ocean Blvd and 4th Avenue and end at the Isle of Palms Exchange Club located at 201 Palm Boulevard. This event will have an impact on some roads on the island. Look for traffic updates and road closures on our social mediaaccounts, @IsleofPalmsPD.  We ask everyone to be extra cautious when traveling in the area. This is a highly attended event with both participants and spectators. Please be patient and follow the directions of law enforcement personnel.

The following is a list of road closures and times:

9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

- Ocean Blvd from 3rd Ave to 10th Ave
- Charleston Blvd from Palm Blvd to 4th Ave
- Carolina Blvd from 2nd Ave – 10th Ave
- Palm Blvd at 2nd Ave will have officers stationed to assist golf carts crossing over Palm Blvd.
