New All-Way Stop at 41st Avenue

A new all-way stop traffic pattern will go into effect Thursday, August 12, at noon, at the intersection of 41st Avenue and Wildwood Road/Forest Trail on the Isle of Palms.

This new traffic pattern change is being implemented as a temporary measure to evaluate traffic patterns after coordination between the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) and the City of the Isle of Palms. The current intersection has Wildwood Road and Forest Trail in stop conditions with 41st Avenue having an unrestricted through movements.

The City advises motorists to drive safely and use extra caution as the new traffic pattern is implemented.
