IOPPD Partners with MADD South Carolina for 'Saturation Saturday'
Isle of Palms Police Department Partners with MADD South Carolina for “Saturation Saturday” on Aug. 24 to Prevent Impaired Driving.
ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. - The Isle of Palms Police Department (IOPPD) will be conducting a traffic safety saturation detail which will conclude with two traffic safety checkpoints for “Saturation Saturday” on August 24, 2024. IOPPD is one of more than a dozen law enforcement agencies throughout South Carolina participating in this statewide effort to protect our community against impaired driving, while more than a dozen other states will also be participating.
The safety checkpoints will be conducted at the following locations from Saturday evening August 24 into Sunday morning August 25 2024:
Ocean Blvd at 14th Ave, 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Palm Blvd at 10th Ave, 11:00 p.m. to 2 a.m.
