Chief of Police

This week, the Personnel Committee and the Public Safety Committee will interview the following candidates for the Chief of Police position.

  • Charles "Andy" Robinson – Chief of Police, York Police Department
  • Kevin Cornett – Chief of Police, Town of Springdale Police Department
  • Joseph Count – Captain, Criminal Investigations, North Augusta Department of Public Safety
  • William "Randy" Joyce – Police Major, Fairfax County Police Department (This interview will be conducted via the web, therefore, he will not be available for a Meet & Greet at this time)

Meet & Greets

Citizens will have the opportunity to meet these candidates during public "Meet & Greet" events which will take place on the following days at the Public Safety Building, located at 30 J C Long Boulevard.

  • 2:15 – 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, April 17th – Charles "Andy" Robinson
  • 4:15 - 4:45 p.m., Wednesday, April 17th – Kevin Cornett
  • 2:15 – 2:45 p.m., Thursday, April 18th – Joseph Count
