The Beach Reach Shuttle will return on Memorial Day weekend 2025. Beachgoers can #RideCARTA to the Isle of Palms! Hop on the Beach Reach Shuttle at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre and park for free -- then you'll be dropped off steps away from the sand!
The seasonal park-and-ride shuttle will tie-in directly to the existing CARTA system at stop No. 715, a sheltered amenity located near the Belk Men’s store. Connections to Route 40 Mount Pleasant and Route 42 Wando Circulator will be available. The on-island Beach Reach stop is located at the 14th Avenue and Ocean Boulevard beach access path.
2025 Beach Reach Dates to remember:
- Service runs every weekend from: May 24th, 2025 to September 1st, 2025
- Special Holiday Dates (service will run on a Sunday Schedule on these date):
- Memorial Day – May 26 (Monday)
- Independence Day – July 4 (Friday)
- Labor Day – September 1 (Monday)
