2025 IOP Cleanup Crew Beach Sweep Schedule

Join the Isle of Palms Cleanup Crew as they work to keep IOP beautiful. View upcoming litter sweeps below.

February Sweep: Spread love, not litter.

Monday, Feb. 10, from 4:30-5:30 p.m., with check-in at the usual Front Beach location by Coconut Joe's. Valentine's Day treats will be provided!

City parking is free for everyone through February.

 

2025 SCHEDULE - January through Labor Day

 
 
Spring 
 
March 10 & 24, April 7 & 21, May 5 & 19.
Welcome session 5:30-6 p.m. Litter sweep until 7 pm.
We will celebrate Earth Month April 21!
 
Summer
 
7-8 am Wednesday Breakfast Club, May 28 to Aug. 27.
6-7 pm Mondays, June 2 through Labor Day.
 
Details for all sweeps
 
  • No registration required – come when you can.
  • Meet at the 1100 block of Ocean Boulevard beach access- next to Coconut Joe's
  • All supplies will be provided
  • Ask for a magnet for free parking in city lots during sweeps. (Beach parking enforcement starts March 1, 2025)
  • Clean for at least 30 minutes.
  • Enjoy a discount at a participating IOP restaurant after volunteering.
  • IOP Cleanup Crew will happily sign for student volunteer hours.
