CAMP SUMMERSHINE
(5-12 yrs) Age as of Sept. 1, 2012
Camp Summershine offers a variety of fun and interactive opportunities including arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor activities, beach trips, and field trips. Children need to bring lunch; snacks are provided.
CAMP TIMES: 9:00am - 3:00pm (Supervision 8:30am - 3:30pm)
CAMP FEE: $65 resident, $70 non-resident
CAMP DEPOSIT: $25 Deposit - Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable

Week 1: June 10 -14 - Rock Star Week
Campers will get to sing and dance like their parents did in the 80s.

Arrgg! Campers will get to experience the Pirate Life and visit Blackbeard’s Cove.

Beat the heat of summer with a week full of water games and activities.

This week involves campers' favorite foods, and everyone knows a campers' favorite food involves candy.

Facts Parents/Guardians Should Know About Camp
Camp begins at 9:00am SHARP!

Parents must sign out their campers out at the end of the day.

Permission forms must be completed weekly if someone other than a parent is picking up campers.

Remaining Balance for each week is DUE the Monday of that week. ·

Camp Summershine provides supervision from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

There is a $10.00 late fee each day your child is not picked up on time.

Registration Deposits are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable.

Children should not bring toys to camp.

Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

Camp Calendar will include information for items that you send with your child to camp. If in doubt, send your child to camp wearing a bathing suit, sunscreen and with a towel.

Apply Sunscreen to your child EVERY MORNING!!!

Camp Counselors will only be allowed to apply Sunscreen that you supply. |

Campers are required to wear their Camp Summershine T-Shirt. It is important that your child is easy to recognize.

Please send your child to camp with a bag lunch everyday, unless it is a field trip day.

Campers are given one snack during the day. Refreshments and water are available throughout the day.

Counselors will handle all lunch money for field trips and will collect at the beginning of camp.
· Please make Recreation Staff and aware of any allergies or special needs your child has when you register.
