ATTENTION: OWNERS & AGENTS OF ISLE OF PALMS RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES - PUBLIC NOTICE - RESIDENTIAL RENTAL LICENSES

The City of Isle of Palms Residential Rental Applications were mailed June 18, 2008.  The property owners who lease their residences have until Monday, September 1, 2008 to submit payment to the Business License Office without penalty.  All payment fees submitted after Monday, September 1, 2008 will be assessed a 5% penalty each month the fee is not paid.  Residential renters without a current Isle of Palms Residential Rental License may also be subject to criminal prosecution.  Failure to receive a residential rental license application does not relieve owners of the responsibility of paying the business license fee.  It is unlawful for any person or agent to act as a rental or management agent for an owner of property who does not have a current Isle of Palms Residential Rental License.  If you have any questions, please contact the Isle of Palms Building Department at (843) 886-9912 or come by 1301 Palm Boulevard, Isle of Palms, SC 29451.
