Operating Condition (OPCON) 1

Charleston County's Emergency Management Department (EMD) is monitoring the weather in the Charleston County region. The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) moved to Operating Condition 1 (OPCON 1) today, October 1st at 3:00pm. 

The major threats to the City of Isle of Palms are flooding, heavy rains and erosion from high tides throughout the weekend.

Please take personal emergency preparedness steps and continue to monitor conditions to both the heavy rains and Hurricane Joaquin.
